The Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA) released the final standings for the schools in the GADA Dodge Director’s Cup. The purpose of the GADA Dodge Directors Cup is to recognize those athletic departments in all GHSA classifications that have excelled and shown superior performance. The award is based on points earned at GHSA state playoffs and championships. Schools in Fayette County performed very well, with three schools making the top 10 in Class AAAA. Starr’s Mill placed second with 820 points (170 behind Marist), McIntosh placed fourth with 616.66 points and Whitewater placed seventh with 420 points. Fayette County placed 62nd with 70 points. In Class AAA, Sandy Creek tied with Riverwood for ninth with 360 points. In Class A, Landmark Christian took third with 500 points and Our Lady of Mercy placed 10th with 340 points. login to post comments |
