PTC visitor injured in golf cart accident

A 14-year-old girl visiting Peachtree City from Buffalo, N.Y. was injured Friday night when she fell out of a golf cart while it was turning, police said.

The girl had reached down to the floor of the golf cart when the 15-year-old driver turned left from Claridge Curve onto Marks Style, police said. The victim then fell off the cart and struck her head on the pavement, police said.

The victim was flown via air ambulance to Egleston Children’s Hospital but her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Thank God the cops aren't on the cart paths or that 15yr old might have been in trouble for having a passenger.

Seriously folks the cart paths are the best place to commit any crime you want. If it feels good do it!!!

You mean the police don't even go to a golf cart accident along with the ambulance?
They go to all wrecks, they say. I know they are allergic to paths, but in case of an injury! Where are the three cops they hired last year for the paths, for which they raised taxes?

Who knows if the cops show up or not.

They were authorized to hire 8 cops last year, that's one of the reasons our taxes were raised. The other reason would be the tennis center gift we gave the bank and the group of dumb and dumber.(actually they are pretty smart....they got away with the scamm of the year)

I talked to a cop last week, 2 of those new hires quit. We also lost eight other officers. We are short 10 cops because of pay issues. Who can blame them. Why stay here when you get better pay somewhere else.
