How anybody could participate in such cruelty is beyond me. This is absolutely sick and I hope if the charges are true (and I have no reason to doubt that they aren't) he goes to prison.

Three groups I can't stand when people abuse. Our dogs have always been full members of our families since I was a child, and for someone to enjoy & profit from dogs ripping eachother open is sub-human. Strong links have been shown between people who torture animals and a willingness to do the same to humans. I can't believe Arthur Blank would allow such a person on his team, no matter the financial implications. I will not watch or attend a single game where Vick dresses out in a Falcons uniform, and I hope enough people do the same to force the Falcons to do the right thing even if the NFL doesn't. I know he hasn't been convicted yet, but who here truly believes he's innocent? What's next, a 'fictional' autobiography from Vick titled, "If I did promote dogs ripping eachother apart?" It almost worked for O.J.

The common link in the three groups you named (and I couldn't agree more) is that they are all defenseless.

Those who would prey on them deserve all the wrath we can muster.

Like I said, if vick stays out of jail, and sells tickets. he will keep him.

It was reported last night that officials have found an old pit or mass grave on vicks property filled with dog carcasses.

The nicest thing I wish for this non-human is that he will suffer every torture that he inflicted on those dogs. I hope there is a special place in hell for this worthless idiot.

Boycott the falcons until they get rid of the bum. I'm sure some street gang would be happy to have him.

I will not support the Falcons again until Vick is gone. I am not going to be a part of making him a role model for anyone - ever.

If he wasn't an NFL quarterback, what do you think he would do for a living?

I think Michael Vick is a little too cocky for his own good. On Fox 5 news he tells the reporter he has "no comment" to his question of him being exonerated after all of this is said and done. And then, he's so cocky to say, "It doesn't matter because no matter what I do my fans will still love me because I still win football games." And, that may be true, but the problem is even if you think that as a person you shouldn't publicly say that!!!!

Don't just assume because you're so good and you get paid so much that you're untouchable and that you think we'll just keep taking it and keep loving you so unconditionally!!! Some people may and I'm like the others, I will still support the Falcons because the team isn't Michael Vick. But, he needs to be put in his place and needs to be made aware that just because he's so overpaid and because he can throw a football he doesn't need to be so cocky!!!

But, that's just me!!!!

Like the 'water bottle' fiasco - he's being tried in the media. I'm no fan of 'spoiled, overpaid' football players - so I'll wait until the investigation is over before I pull my support from the Falcons. He is a big 'money maker' for the Falcons - and for Atlanta. (and his accusers are not that creditable)

Yes he is a big money maker for the team and the city. That is the whole problem in itself. He makes money so alot get over looked and swept under the rug.WOW he makes the city money WHO CARES lets find a QB that will make money for the team and can also be a role model for our youth. Yeah thats what I want my kids to learn if you make enough money you are above the law. Heck of a role model he is.When is it enough how much more does he get away with?

He owned the home. He owned the land. He owned the dogs. He is a breeder.
DUH!!!

Submitted by dollaradayandfound on Wed, 05/30/2007 - 1:04pm.

Vick is a breeder but not of animals.
I suppose the fancy water bottle was just something to brag about or to see just how much he could get away with about the law?
The pit of dead dogs and those that were mangled must have been in an accidenttt.
Where did he get such money to buy all that when he played college ball? He is a thug.

Submitted by lj57 on Wed, 05/30/2007 - 2:29pm.

I AM NOT supporting Vick. The point I was making is he owned it all. I think the thug should be put in a pit with his dogs.
Remember the BOO BIRDS, they are coming for you Vick.

As long as vick stays out of jail and he keeps selling football tickets, you can forget his dismissal.
Also, his contract probably says he can't be fired.
He is like Deon used to be anyway: overplays and hurts himself so he can help coach. Maybe even preach a little.
Vick is about ticket sales.

That's precisely why I won’t spend a nickel on the Falcons. If enough people do the same, Blank will drop Vick lick a hot potato.
