2nd Mexican War is being won by Mexico

If I remember my history correctly, the Mexican-American War ended in 1848 and the United States won. As a consequence, most of the territory comprising the modern-day states of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming were ceded to the United States by Mexico by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The remaining parts of Arizona and New Mexico were later ceded to us via the 1853 Gadsden Purchase.

In the latter half of the 20th century, Mexico violated the 1848 treaty and restarted the Mexican-American War via the process of the illegal immigration of their peons to the United States.

If we allow the 12-to-20 million illegal Mexicans and other Hispanic aliens in this country amnesty, we will be committing cultural suicide.

All Americans from past generations who have been assimilated in our society derived from legal immigrants who adopted our history, our English language and customs as their own.

Not so the illegal Mexicans and other Hispanics. Their goal is to transplant their alien Spanish/Indian culture and language to our land. If they are successful, our country, traditions, language, past history, and national pride will be lost.

I despair that our present Congress and President do not realize the long-range objectives of the Hispanic and Mexican illegals. If they do, they are guilty of treason.

If we don’t act now to get the right provisions in the new immigration law being worked on by Congress, the second Mexican-American war will be won by Mexico. Heaven help us.

That seems to be your hypothesis here...Here is an alternate one: Economics. Simply put, the American market is more attractive for people to work at, more money for the sma amount of effort than south of the border...thanks to unjust "free" trade agreements and U.S. foreign policy supportive of dictators and human right abuses (as long as it serves American interests). Thanks be to globalization, now the U.S. is confronted with the free movement of not only good and services among NAFTA countries, but also PEOPLE! Yes, people, you can't have one (the economic benefits) without the other (the immigrants). Sooooo. brace for the long haul, America becoming brown (or, according to you, the Mexican Reconquista, with California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, etc going back to its original owners!), not only that, but also Georgia, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and other spots becoming Latin! What a feast! and thanks to "comprehensive immigration reform" by President Bush and Company...a true spectacle.
