Suspect poses as customer before pulling gun The Dollar General store at the Banks Station shopping center in Fayetteville was robbed at gunpoint early Friday evening, police said. The suspect posed as a customer buying a drink, and when the cashier opened the register to make change he produced a silver handgun, police said. The suspect then demanded the money, which the cashier put in the yellow Dollar General shopping bag along with the drink, police said. The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male in his early 20s, approximately 5’8” and weighing roughly 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue hat with white T-shirt material underneath and black pants. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 770-461-4441. login to post comments |
