Another General in the White house everyday

Since no four-star general would take the additional advisors role about Iraq and Afghanistan to the President's briefing every day, they found a three-star, hungry for the fourth star to take it.
Now what does that tell you? Four stars had nothing to gain except failure---a three star will assuredly get his fourth star if he doesn't take the wrong attitude. Doesn't matter what happens with the war. (probably get a freedom medal).
They should have thought of that before!
