I Deal in RealityNot the way YOU think it should be. Issues? Debate no-show? Not specific answers? No one home? All of that sounds really swell. Then suddenly, the realization strikes that this is a mayoral election in a city of 35,000 and not a vote on the fate of the universe. Most voters aren't wasting their lives pondering exactly who they are going to vote for tomorrow, most have long-ago made up their made up their minds. A majority don't care one way or the other too much so they won't be voting. The REALITY is that tommorow's election may be decided by reasoning that some of the Brownies don't like and that reasoning goes along the lines of "anyone but Brown." Well, too bad because that's life. Why should Logsdon run a campaign based on how Steve Brown supporters think he should? Why debate Brown in a setting devised by Brown to try and make a miracle comeback? Brown's not worth debating, he finished a distant second and the other candidates were running against Brown as much as they were running for themselves. Like it or lump it, it's REALITY.
