All Fayette final for girls in AAAA soccer

Soccer fans are guaranteed of a 2007 champion coming from the Southern Crescent.

The Whitewater varsity girls soccer team defeated McIntosh 1-0 on Tuesday night with a goal from freshman Erin Emerson and Starr's Mill upset Marist, the number one team in AAAA, 3-2, bringing the state championship game to Whitewater on Friday night. Katrina Frost scored two goals fo the Lady Panthers, while Brittany Schwanitz added one.

The game time is 7 p.m., Friday at Whitewater High School.

Just imagine what a team (any sport but especially soccer) would be like if WHS, FCHS, SCHS, MHS and SMHS were all combined.

We have some great kids here in Fayette County. I hope the parents I have been reading about can behave as nicely as the kids.

As far as I am concerned, all three of these schools in the finals are true winners!

Hi Enigma, I agree with you about the kids. As for some of the parents, when my son coaches rec ball I don't sit with them. Smiling
