When the state soccer semifinals start on Tuesday, the faces will be very familiar; McIntosh will host Whitewater and Starr's Mill will play at Marist.

The Whitewater Lady Wildcats faced Lakeside-DeKalb on Friday and won 4-2. Erin Emerson and Emily Culbreth both scored two goals in the wins. Coach Heather Allen stated that her team was looking forward to a rematch with the Lady Chiefs and feels that the Lady Wildcats are playing their best ball of the season.

McIntosh trailed St. Pius on Friday, but came back to tie the game and force overtime where the Lady Chiefs won in shootout 3-0.

Starr's Mill played at Chapel Hill on Friday and won 2-0. Carlie Banks and Katrina Frost scored the goals for the Lady Panthers.

Times for Tuesday's games have yet to be determined.

Only one sentence and you butchered up the game report. The Chiefs had a 2 goal lead until the end of the game when Pius tied it. What a Bozo head! I know what happened and I have been in Arizona for a week. Got all the dirt from my daughter Kristin, who (he proudly states) scored both goals. Try reading the AJC.
