FCBOE: 50 acres and no mule

Didn't you just have to love the coincidental pop-up of information that the FCBOE wanted a 50-acre site for an elementary and middle school in the West Village? Oh problem solved! Yeah right.

Why didn't the city council get the school site out of the developers before they passed them on annexation? There's no incentive to cough up 50 acres now.

And why is the FCBOE just making it known publicly at the council meeting that they need 50 acres? Little late?

I think the PTC council votes just caused one of the biggest school redistricting battles Fayette County will ever see.
