Fayette County is a rural County. If you don't like the commute, move closer to Atlanta. You come here and try to change our rural community to a urban community. Once again if you don't like it out here move closer in.

Sorry Dude. I know it didn't make it into the 404 area code back in the early '90's but it happened. I feel your pain.
I looked into land in Heard Co but they are extending the hwy between LaGrange & Carrollton and are forward thinking a by-pass around Franklin. Can you believe it? Merrywether is kinda a thought but Chambers Co, AL or there abouts might last your lifetime.
I hate to break the news to you but IT's Here. THEY are Here. From Columbus to Rome thru ATL. Looks like over from ATL to Athens & forget about ATL to CHAT.

If you don't like it, then I would suggest you move farther south. Cuba sounds good.
