The sheer number of people using this tragedy to pimp their personal causes and beliefs is nothing short of astounding.

"It's all because of atheism!"

"It's the liberals fault!"

"We need MORE guns in schools!"

"We need LESS guns in schools!"

"It's due to violent video games!"

"It's all the NRA's fault!"

"It's all because of student immigration visas!"

"Our gun laws are too lax!"

"Our gun laws are too strict!"

and on and on and on.

No personal cause unless it is safety.
Sure fewer guns would be better and also more guns would be better - especially if one of those faculty members had one. Then maybe we could have 1 or 2 dead students and 1 dead killer instead of 32 dead students and teachers.

I think we should also do an air marshal type security on campus. They could be trained to spot someone carrying (guns that is) and follow them and intervene.

Or we could just do nothing or pass useless gun control laws and wait for it all to happen again.
