‘Impeach Bush’ writer: ‘I’ll make this brief’

Subject: Let me make this brief

I appreciate your printing my reply to Trey Hoffman three weeks after the publication of his unresearched claptrap.

On the other hand I must disagree with your outsourcing your editing function to a local middle school.

I realize editing is a real art. The job must be to seize the essence of the letter, trim the unnecessary verbiage, and retain the musculature. I propose to you that printing only the first and last paragraph may not be the way to go, particularly when the writer states his intention to bring forth evidence, and all the evidence, every smidgeon, is removed.

On the other hand, if your only purpose is to fill space around letters you do print in their entirety or actually edit with a conscience, I suggest starting with Aardvark and working through Webster’s. I have a 1978 edition I will be glad to loan you.

And thank you for including my “Impeach Bush” statement. For me it has become a Catolian exercise akin to “Carthago delenda est.” So once again, impeach Bush, and while we’re at it, get the sour-faced master of evil, his Vice-President.

Sorry, bad editing ... that’s

Dear T m t y J P r er,

Please give strong consideration to reading “Windows for Dummies’ while you are chanting your impeaching mantra. Editing is really not that difficult.

Also, before you give away that dictionary, consider looking up the word ‘Dolt’.

Thank you in advance,
Enigma
