Independent State of Iraq?

The black-robed grand pooh-pa, Sadar has pulled his group's representatives out of the Iraqi parliament. This was done, he said, because the Prime Minister wouldn't force the Americans to set a leaving Iraq date.
Now does anyone here think that the Prime Minister (Maliki, I think) could set a date if he wanted to do so?
It just so happens that if he went against the American wishes on this, he wouldn't last two days!
The only times that the present "government" of Iraq is allowed to be a government is when Mr. Bush says, "look at the democracy in Iraq, isn't that wonderful?"
Such a farce has never been foisted upon as many Americans as has been here. Nothing works in Iraq without us. We can't make it work either with a handful of fighting soldiers. The minute we leave, the Iraqi army will split into two factions and start fighting each other full force for another Grand Pooh Pa. We can't, and ain't leaving.
