The Coweta County Commission has set a Tuesday evening vote on the biggest development in the county's history. Developer Tom Reese's McIntosh Village could bring more than $1 billion in revenue to the county and state after it's completed in 15 years. The village, located near Sharpsburg and bordering Peachtree City, would be home to nearly 9,000 residents and a commercial component half the size of the Fayette Pavilion. The vote is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday night at the county administrative complex in Newnan. In the video, Reese states his case for the village, and a Sharpsburg resident asks the County Commission to get more information on the proposal. login to post comments

This is absolutely ridiculous!

I'm shocked that the Peachtree City Council would ever consider building TDK. It would truly be a milestone for everyone to cite as the time our city was completely ruined.
