Gandolfo's in Peachtree City

I went to Gandolfo's on Saturday morning for breakfast and it was awful !!! They were not busy maybe 4 people in the whole restaurant and the 2 people before me got their order and it was not correct and then when I got mine it was also not correct. I will be glad when Chick Fil A and Shanes Rib Shack open.. Its a shame that they could not get their act together this was the second time i have been there and will be the last !!!!

Gandolfo's is blah. A little too much menu for me too. It takes half an hour just to read the darn thing. If you like hot sandwiches, then we need a Firehouse here.

I thought there was a news article here about a year ago that said that what has turned out to be the nex Chick-fil-A in PTC West was supposed to be a Truett's Grill.

but the folks I know within ChicFilA say they don't make the money with those that they do with the stand alone Chicken Houses. Too much labor etc in the Grill's and Dwarf Houses. That being said, there are a few around and I would think one would do nice in the West Village, but that may be pushing the limit on ChicFilA's we could stand. It's not far to the store at Thomas Crossroads either.

I have no complaint with the sandwiches or service (but then, I've only gone at lunch on a weekday, when there are no teenagers serving). But I was extremely disappointed in their gelato. It is nothing like what gelato should be. It is gummy, sticky, and crystallized... not gelato texture at all. I tried several different flavors, thinking it may just be one or two of them, but it was all of them.

I've been to Gandolfo's several times for lunch and dinner and thought it was excellent. I'm not much of a sandwich person but I love their hot sandwiches. It puts the other sub chains to shame. It's a good value for the money - particularly the specials - it is always ready quickly and delicious. I love the homemade potato salad. I haven't been there for breakfast so I can't vouch for that. My only complaint has been the surly teenage girls behind the counter taking orders. I've been waited on by two different ones with the same bad attitude. But unfortunately that isn't specific to Gandolfo's. Most of the "nicer" restaurants with a "hostess" in town have the same issue and it seems to be worse when there are two of them. What's up with that?

The young ladies there have been very nice and helpful to me, but I guess everybody has different experiences.
On a different note, I went to highschool with a girl that everybody called ScoobySnack. Did you go to school around here? What year did you graduate? That would be funny if I know you.
