These people deserve a lot of credit putting together a play like this so quickly. This West Side Story is about the West Village annexation in Peachtree City. The story starts with the first big boxes and the emergence of a young firebrand (played by Tom Cruise) who becomes mayor and is tormented by his evil predecessor (played by Jack Nicholson). The young mayor approaches the area's largest builder (played by Jack Palance) and begs him to annex his land into the city. The young mayor's former buddies on city council (played by the Three Stooges) reprimand him and cut off all support. This enables a new mayor (played by Phil Foster) to get elected and be indecisive about almost everything. The love interest is well-written but miscast as one of the new mayor's councilwoman (played by Rosie O'Donnell) is disiplined by the city attorney (played by Nathan somebody from The Producers) for wearing revealing dresses to council meetings. The story ends with the young former mayor and the old former mayor running for Congress against the hapless incumbent Lynn Westmoreland (Tom Hanks in his Forrest Gump personna).

Can't wait to see this.
