Basmati & Friends

I think this guy is right. I pray however that Beck is sounding a Y2K or Global Warming false alarm. But the difference in those two fore mentioned hoaxes and the violent nature and agenda of the Islamo Fascists is that there is evidence to back what we all fear.

The Basmati's Are Coming

Thumbs up to CNN for finally hiring a journalist to cover these important issues.

I've been galavanting and weening myself from the posts for a bit, but I had to make a long distance entry. I never got the chance to tell you that Judge English handled my son's adoption. So I didn't care for folks trying to paint him as a weak judge when I know that he is an honorable man working within the constraints of law. Anywho, I watch Glenn Beck from time to time as well. It's always interesting that conservative news persons often have some hidden demon driving them. Glenn's manic personality must be attributable to the challenge of staying sober.
I like his "history of the Middle East" lessons. But he has been known to be behind on the facts at times (Pelosi plane nonstory and Al Gore's light bill to name 2.) Here is my question Git: Why are conservatives so worked up about global warming studies and warnings. We currently have no policies that are costing any of us anything to combat what may or may not be the human effect on global warning. So why the fuss? Why not ignore the issue like the EPA does? Just curious. Have a good one, Git,

Cheers,

Kevin "Hack" King

I never got the chance to tell you that Judge English handled my son's adoption. Wish I could opine here. I imagine your time with Judge English was an awesome time. Being an adoptive parent makes you more of a hero to me than your service record. You've probably impacted a life in a positive manner more than you'll ever realize.

Anywho, as you say..... Glen Beck. I've never watched him before. I can't stand listening to him on radio so I couldn't imagine my self being able to stomach him for very long having to watch him. I did however stumble upon his Bas piece.

I like his "history of the Middle East" lessons.

Let me just say that his "Basmati Piece" jumped out at me as a valid glimpse into our future. Yes.... I think Global Warming is a pile of roadkill that our friend Buzz ought to be able to finish off on the side of the road. Our real enemy is Islam itself. Now I can accept the fact that they choose a god much different than the God I worship. To that extent yes I would prefer to see them converted. But not under threat of their very lives. I like the "Love Thy Neighbor" thing and am quite comfortable getting along with such folk. But the evidence proves their plans for our destruction. Their hatred and radicalism is undeniable and a real threat to the rest of the free world. So regarding Glen Beck let me just say that perhaps your own diagnosis of Glen Becks personal drive may or may not be factual. I would agree that the dude does have issues.

Why are conservatives so worked up about global warming studies and warnings.

I guess many of us true Conservatives just simply get worked up about unproven theories and BS. Especially when it is being used primarily as a tool to frighten people and push a political agenda. I tend to agree with the Czech President Vaclav Klaus that "Environmentalism Is The New Communism" and that it is the "Biggest Threat To Freedom, Democracy, The Market Economy And Prosperity". I would imagine that he (of all people) would know Communism when he see it.

Why not ignore the issue like the EPA does? Just curious.

I do ignore it for the most part. It's impossible to do however, when it's stuffed in one's face on a daily basis and I'm told daily that I'm considered to be a "destroyer of the earth".

In regards to the Gore and the other knucklehead you mentioned I do have something that might be of interest to them. I'm sure that I may have some carbon credits for sale. My farm is used strictly for hay farming and there are no bovine roaming the fields farting around. Soooo.... I figure some people like to sell swamp land and are sucessful at it so why shouldn't I sell carbon credits?

Keep Hangin,

Git

I got the idea to sell my carbon credits to dim-witted liberals after reading a story about it in USA Today. Unfortunately I was several years too late. It seems that all the good domain names like carboncredits.org, buycarboncredits.com, etc. were bought many years ago in anticipation of this ‘market’. When I checked to see who owned them it turned out that terrapass had the good ones – “for as little as 29.95 per year, you can balance your impact by funding clean energy projects”. They’re going to make a killing off of these global warming idiots.

Also, on the Glen Beck story, a French court will decide the fate of a guy whose newspaper published some of the Mohammed cartoons that enraged the Muslim community. He could get six months in prison and fined several thousand euros. Instead of going after the jihadists the French like to pick easier targets.

Maximus
