Here's something to expound upon....

If you could bring back just one of the dining establishments that has closed its doors in Fayette County - from whenever - which one would it be?

My vote would have to be for Valentino's before all that Italians of the Caribbean stuff.

Never knew they were into the drug game, but they sure served up great Italian food. Huge portions. One meal to eat and share, the second to take home and share again.

Pilgreen's in Braelinn was good as well.

I actually miss the Ginza private rooms, even though we only went once - maybe that's why they closed.

Peking was the first and best Chinese restaurant here. Miss them too.

Shadows was the best for breakfast and sometimes lunch on the patio.

It was "Corelli's." Home of great street-Italian grub and multiple social security cards.

As to what to bring back:

Frank-N-Fries. 'Nuff said.
Hardees. Chick-Fil-A sucks.
The small deli which used to be next to Huddle House was great too.

I would love a new hibatchi style place where Ginza was.

Dragon Lady was better than Peking.

I miss the Little Cesars pizza, they have one in Sharpsburg but won't deliver here.

How about La Fiesta? That place was good.

Mazzio's Pizza....great buffet.

What was the name of that Ice Cream shop where Georgia Shrip Company is now?

I think the Georgia Shrimp went out too

I'm positive. I saw them receiving an order of fresh produce this AM. They are left/east of the dry cleaners/hobby shop in the Peachtree Crossing center. They are one of my current faveds to eat out at.

They did move from up beside the 74 Tavern, but it's been a while.

I was thinking of the one in Fayetteville which I'm pretty sure did close up.... At least they looked closed last time I went up there...
