Long debates on middle-east

We have two individuals on here providing long pieces about how to handle the situation in Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia (oops, we don't mess with that dictatorship, do we).
Frankly, I have quit reading them. They seem to say about the same thing over and over, about three-wishes-on-a-match, that the USA can never make happen.
We can't even "buy" such things with our aid to most of them.
