Fayette County DA

Why are the African American citizens complaining about our DA? He is an elected official. I elected him to office. The crime in Fayette county seems to be coming from others who live outside the county. (Clayton & Fulton). I am not racist. I live in a biracial neighborhood. Everyone gets along. But we need to buckle down on these people who think they can come in to our county commit crimes, and bring our community down to the levels of Clayton and Fulton. That is not exceptable. People of all colors can get along, but alot of times like the NAACP has to throw in that race card. That's why there is still racism. Thx Fayetteville citizen

Does anybody else think that it’s funny that these bloggers comment about my father’s courage while cowering behind their pseudo names?

Do society a favor and get a life.

I feel that if one feels that strongly about something; one should not have a problem putting one's name behind it. However, you will find that there are very few bloggers that are willing to do so. I have previously posted my name and my place of employment, so please don't include me in with the cowardly group.

They know they can get away with it.

The news media will jump on it;
The lawyers will line up licking their chops at the opportunities;
The prosecutors and "ALL" elected officials will start back-pedaling;

And the race lords will snicker behind their backs because they've pulled off another one.

Too bad the NAACP doesn't put as much effort in addressing the social and cultural issues causing the black crime rate (mostly black on black crime) as they put in trying to curtail the law enforcement and judicial actions "after the fact".

A little proactive efforts on their part might help .... but then again, they wouldn't get the big headlines that justify their salaries and first class air travel.

Ditto...They Play the Race Card Because.....It works !!! Works like a charm. "You wouldn't [INSERT IMAGINED INJUSTICE OF YOUR CHOICE] that way if I wasn't black." It works. The judges and DA's (and our DA) absolutely crap when faced with this. And notice how the NAACP will never complain about the treatment of Hispanics. Not on their agenda. And watch the plea deals galore. Gone are the days when Fayette is tougher on crime.

I did not like his bowing to the racial profiling remark. I wish he would have told her that her son would not be pulled over if he would just stop speeding. Racial profiling is not as prevalent as people would think. If it were, the local defense attorneys would have a field day!

The DA will continue to cowtow to these liberal special interests. He should just do his job. The police arrest; he should prosecute. He should not be backstabbing law enforcement. If he wants to apologize to these folks and show them what a compassionate liberal he is, he ought to be the Public Defender.
