Skip and Laura Lamb of LaGrange announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Maggie Tyler Lamb, to Timothy Ray Banks Jr. son of Tim and Carol Banks of Peachtree City.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of LaGrange High School. She received her degree in marketing from Auburn University and is currently employed with First City Bank of Florida.

The groom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Starrs Mill High School, he received his degree in aviation management from Auburn University and is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

The wedding will be Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Oakhurst Farm in West Point.

I'm not sure who this goes to but, I'm Laura's roommate from Auburn. I met a couple tonight from LaGrange who's daughter's guidance counselor was named Laura Lamb. She told me to google her to see if it was the same one. It wasn't, but I'm so glad I stumbled onto this notice!

I think the last time I saw Maggie she was about 4 years old. She has certainly grown into a beautiful young woman. And smart, too, graduating from AU and marrying a fellow War Eagle!

If this goes to Maggie, tell your mom her old roomie says hello! And that I had dinner with one of our other roommates, Lainey a couple of weeks ago!
