TV interviews: Atlanta
Each day on the local news channels, all of them, they do one or more interviews, in the street, concerning some crime that has happened.
I would never do that, but in wondering why others do it, I'm having trouble with an answer. Maybe there is no answer--it just happens!
Frankly, I can only understand a little of what is said by the persons being interviewed but usually it has to do with the interviewed person (almost always a lady) wanting some answers to what has happened, and, telling the perpetrator to turn themself in.
If I were the perpetrator and was driving a stolen car, say, when maybe I hit someone--I'm not going to turn myself in. It has never happened.
I think maybe 75% of the people would never leave the spot to have to turn themself in, providing they didn't have a record and are going away for years, for sure if they do.
Are there other reasons why these people submit to these interviews that I'm not fully understanding?
