Onyxx Restaurant

Personally, I think all of you are jealous because the owner looks better than you and your mammas put together. Instead of shooting one down, we need to try and support them and stop feeding each other with negative gossip. Because you're all speaking on hearsay. I know the owners personally and they are great people. Very nice and professional. So all of you guys need to go out and get your own lives and stop worrying about others.

And that's as Real as it Gets.

It is a small world, after all

Last night (Saturday) when I drove past this establishment, I noticed less than five cars in the parking lot - and this was not including the employee's vehicles, which were obviously parked in one area away from the front door.

Must you continuously attempt to acquire free advertising for this minority based establishment? Why don't you do the same for say, Huddleston's Florist; A long time family owned business on Glenn Street (Hwy 85) here in Fayetteville with outstanding plants and flowers at great prices. (You’re welcome Alvin.)

Your racial slurs and guttural pabulum from previous posts has already done enough damage to "your friend's" dining establishment, Oynxx.

I for one will never eat at Oynxx. Trust me, after your previous blogs, it's the last place I would ever want to be seen.

I prefer to spend my money at establishments that don’t target minorities, since I am not one and feel ‘left out’. I like places that treat everyone the same- that’s just me.

Perhaps you would like to comment on something a bit more intellectually stimulating, say for example, the odds that the Federal Reserve will lower interest rates?

True or false: The owner of Onyxx is also the owner of The Ice Palace on Old National Hwy where a patron was shot and killed a few months ago.

Does her looks make the food taste better. If so I'm jealous

Nahhh... don't like the name.

No one's worrying about them. Heck we forgot about them until you came and stirred the pot again.

And that's as Real as it Gets.

Git on out of here.... whatcha mean by that sucka?

But seriously. Where can I find a buy one get one free coupon at?

You probably forgot about them because you didn't take your daily pills. With your crazy (fill in the blanks)...!!

Add one more X to the name and it becomes a porn joint.

Does 2 X's in the name mean that it is a 'soft porn' joint?

I give this place another 6 months - max. There's just not a whole lot of demand for restaurants with $30 entree's in this area.

They would do better in Atlanta.

Then sun dried tomatoes restaurant is a goner too, isn't it. Menu too high?
Onyxx is a "see and be seen" place and might last a while as they did in buckhead.

Look at this report of a hate crime reported in my hometown.

about the 6 month prediction. Crappy restaurants have a way of sticking around longer than any of us can guess; look at 3 Dollar and Hotlanta. The $30 - $50 entrees are enough to keep me away, but look at how popular those "take and bake" businesses are now, and they're just as expensive, (and you still have to cook it!). Point being: who knows how long it will last. Just don't go north of 54 after dark and everyone will be okay.
