Good News: Experience will be on the ticket in 2008

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson has confirmed he will run for President in 2008. Richardson brings, among other things, real experience to the Democratic ticket in 2008.

Richardson is not only a current Gov. he was the Secretary of Energy and later a UN Ambassador during the Clinton administration.

Looks like Hillary and Obama might actually have to have a little competition since neither have much experience to be in the run for a national office.

If you are not familiar with Bill Richardson, I encourage you to take a close look at him:

Richardson's office denies Fox News Report

Gee Fox News lied. That's gotta be a first.

Actually, I got the information from elsewhere.

Richardson's travel itinerary includes a few days in New Hampshire next week - somehow I don't think he is there for the breakfast.

He has been going there regularly since June 2005. He's running - count on it.

Probably will be somebody named Mark L. Soundsgood, from somewhere in the south.
Ever heard of a guy named George Bush from Texas, via Massachussetts? Had you heard of him in 1990?
I think drawing straws from a pool of candidates selected by polls would be the least dangerous way.
We don't need a candidate now, the election for President is two years away. Too long for them to lie and decieve us.

Many of us had indeed heard of George W. Bush from Texas before he was running for president and also Ann Richards before him. I also know who Ron Kirk, Rick Perry, and Kay Bailey Huthcinson are - do you?

Some of us actually follow politics both 'in season' and out.

Keeping up with power players allows us to see beyond sound bites and thus not become as cynical as you are.

We know more about these candidates, their tendancies and their past votes. This is how we prevent ourselves from being fooled by the chameleon like behavior (you are so tired of) since we know what they have done as opposed to what they sometimes say they will do.

I think you have expected others to solve problems for you and, of course, they have not. My best advice to you is to never depend on others, especially the government, and prepare yourself to help others. If you are prepared to help others you can certainly help yourself.

Momma said "this world owes you nothing" and "there is no such thing as a free lunch" I have found both of those to be true and have suffered no disappointments from political prostitutes who promise to solve problems for me.
