Mayor Says No Tax Increase Expected From $920K Lawsuit Settlement

“The bond payment isn’t going to be that great,” Logsdon said. “I do not see a tax increase in the immediate future for this.” The city does face some tough budget-related decisions in the future, however, he added.

Soooo Logsdon. You claim this isn't going to cost the taxpayers any money huh? You remind me of when our former Fayette County Commissioner Rick Price publicly stated that the "Linda Wells Fountain" construction wasn't costing the taxpayers any money. He stated that property was sold by the county and that money could be considered a wash on the fountain construction expense.

Soooo again Logsdon...you stated: The city does face some tough budget-related decision in the future....

Sooooo I and any other reasonable shafted taxpayer would assume that if the Taxpayer Tennis Center Heist is going against future budgets and those future budgets are going to require more taxpayer dollars to fund then there WILL HAVE TO BE A TAX INCREASE IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!!

Sooooo once again Logsdon. Are we to assume you are stupid or just a shameless deceiver?

Meaning what? Is the Mayor gonna pay this mishap from his own money? I learned a long time ago that there is no such thing as a free meal, somebody pays at the end. This Mayor may think we are all stupid, but I can hardly wait for the next election to dump this dude.

Lodgson is a shameless liar.

He should of been a lawyer the way he lies, he is a natural at it.

I wonder if I could get him to call in sick for me once a week?? I need someone who is a good liar liar to pull off the job.

We can handle the truth, no need to lie to our faces.

Hotels and the tax that they tax the taxpayers maybe will pay for the tax built tennis center. That is if regular tax doesn't pay it.
I'm afraid the word tax is there somewhere, you find it.
What I want to know is: how can I play tennis at Planterra (I don't live there) when I want to play, assuming I may have to wait if it is full. Who gets priority on the courts, instructors, owners, Planterra people, etc.?
Do I have to join something? How much is it? Are there assessments?
Can I bring in a crowd of friends of mine from Riverdale to play one Saturday if we pay? Are the showers free? Do tournaments sometimes take up all the available space? How many memberships are owned by Banks, Insurance cos., Developers, Real Estate, Officials, and can they bring guests from here and Alaska? Is it private, public, public-private, or situational?
