Father Duped and Robert W. Morgan

Git Real's picture

Mister Epps,

In regards to your calling us anonymous blogger cowards I submit to you that you truly need to Git Real. Your praise of Robert W. Morgans courage in using his name is truly laughable.

You have either been duped or you're just plum dumb. Robert W. Morgan died On May 22, 1998, when he lost his battle with lung cancer in Los Angeles.

LINK TO THE REAL ROBERT W. MORGAN

If you would dare to do a little research you would find that there is no Robert W. Morgan in Fayette County as I have thoroughly searched the Fayette County public records. There are however, several other Robert W. Morgans in Georgia with one residing in Riverdale. I'll bet you're now wishing you would have used an anonymous moniker after making such a stupid blunder.

The only thing in common our impostor has with the real Robert W. Morgan is that they share the same first name.

As for me and my Lion....we will remain anonymous for many legit and obvious reasons.

Respectfully,

Father Git Real

Interested and curious as well - what are you all dumping on Father Epps for? I did not see anything in his columns where he mentioned me - nor do I know why he would.

What are you talking about?

How many more times are you folks going to let this joker fool you?
He knows what Epps said about him---just pretending he didn't read it, huh!!
I still have one more lot for sale near a pollution clean-up company near Fairburn at very, very reasonable prices. Just don't dig a hole on a slant.

Father Epps:

Thank you for taking the time to write your columns for the Citizen. This discussion about your praise of Robert W. Morgan happened after he trashed on Steve Brown and the Citizen. You defended "Robert W. Morgan" as courageous.

What is more dishonest? Someone who is an anonymous poster or some one who fakes a real identity to pretend that they are not anonymous ? I also ask --- who is more courageous --- former Mayor Steve Brown who uses his real name or Bob "Robert W. Morgan" ______.

I think that you owe the Citizen an apology !!!

Bless, me, Father Git Real, for I have sinned, and have a confession to make.

I'd never heard of the broadcaster and assumed RWM was a local yokel. I did, however, at least wonder about the icon--the guy with the headphones, turned away from a desk.

I followed your link and listened to his interviews with the Monkees in 1967. That was the year I was 10 and head-over-heels for the Monkees. (I played "I'm Not Your Stepping Stone" on one string on my guitar. "I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone....")

Also, it is my thinking that the person known on here as Steve Brown is not the real PTC Steve Brown. That one could be Lenox, trying to totally change the subject about the tennis center. I notice now that "steve brown" says it is a done deal!
This Epps fellow doesn't owe anyone an apology. I have seen much worse lapses in judgement on here. This here comment may be one of them!
