Mercy boys and Landmark girls win state titles in cross country

Local teams had a good day at the state cross country meet in Carrollton on Saturday. The Our Lady of Mercy boys won the Class A state championship and Matt Lethbridge was the individual state champion in the race with a time of 16:31, while his brother Jake placed third with a time of 16:52. Landmark Christian placed second.

On the girls side of the Class A race, Landmark Christian won yet another title with Kaity Bulger placing second overall with a time of 20:20. Our Lady of Mercy's girls placed fifth.

In the AAAA boys race, Starr's Mill's Austin Enriquez was the individual champion with a time of 16:01. Overall, Starr's Mill placed 13th and McIntosh placed 14th. On the girl's side, McIntosh placed second while Starr's Mill placed seventh. Starr's Mill's Jackie Sample placed second overall with a time of 19:42.

Was WHS or FCHS represented? If so, how did they do?
