Guess I was having flashbacks from when my momma slapped me up against the head for demanding something from folks without say please and thank you. Just didn't like his tone of voice. Sorry...I won't do that again.

Did you ever consider that you may have misunderstood the tone you read in his post? After all, you can't hear the voice you claim had a negative tone. Perhaps you are too cynical or are just too used to assuming that people are being rude. Besides, he may have been using shorthand when he wrote that and in no way meant to be rude. That's what I read. Your immediate reaction to call him rude, stupid and a goon shows that your "momma" may not have "slapped" enough sense into you about polite behavior when it came to name calling.

I would have said please and thank you. I do that when I ask someone to do something for me.
