Is Bruce Jordan really gone?

A source tells me that Bruce did not show up (for the 3rd time) for a scheduled psychological test yesterday (11-02-06) and that he has now been let go. Can anyone verify this information?

He is neutered if not gone - so who cares?

Thank you for your post. If you are a faithful reader than you know that there are many of us who stand fully behind the Sheriff and his officers. I have made that statement here before and mean it.

Bruce Jordan had the best of the best and blew it. I just felt the Sheriff lost much with his support of this man over the years. I for one am sorry Sheriff Johnson's trust was betrayed.

We, speaking for myself and many friends, as a community are proud of the work you do and feel safer to have you watching over us.

I don't even know the Fayette sheriff, but what I do know is that he is responsible for the management of the department, especially after scores of years. I suppose you would say that Bush failed due to bad generals or advisors, and therefore is not at fault? It is called "plausible deniability" by scoundrels!

Yeah...If the Fayette sheriff would have taken Bruce out while he had the chance then we the people would be safer now. Kind of like if Clinton would have done his job and not failed due to letting Bin Laden get away and allowing all those terrorist attacks against our interests by those mean ole terrorist scoundrels maybe we would be on the ground in Iraq now.

Question. Can you stay on subject and not bring your president into every conversation that has nothing to do with Bush at all?

Yes, according to my sources.
There will be more to come.

Dear Mr. "THE BOSS,"

I read the Citizen On Line almost every day. I also read AJC.com, Foxnews.com, and MSNBC.com. I read them because I am interested in my community and my world. I look at the blogs on the Citizen because sometimes you can't help noticing the titles. Do you know what I dislike most about the blogs? Its the cowards who spout nonsense, nasty observations, and viscious unfounded attacks--all the while trying to appear like they are in the "know." Sounds like you!

Now, the proof is in the pudding. My name is Bryan Woodie. I work at the Sheriff's Office. I am proud of my long tenured association with this outstanding organization.

I don't know the details; its not my business, but yes he did make an appointment arranged by the Sheriff's Office.

For the record, I'm not a fan of Bruce, but thats my right and privilege to feel that way. In the end, this will play out the way it should and we can all move on to the important problems facing our community.

Lets be clear about one thing--Bruce Jordan is not the Fayette County Sheriff's Office and The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is not Bruce Jordan.

There are more than two hundred and twenty people who I am proud to work with. Every day, we go to work and do our dead level best to protect our community. I for one find your constant allegations of corruption in the Sheriff's Office insulting and made all the worse by your non existent "inside" source information.

I expect to catch some flak from the Sheriff for this but, unlike you, I'm not afraid to put my name with my opinion. One thing I'll always remember the Sheriff preaching is that we shouldn't get in a fight with a skunk, because no matter who wins, everybody stinks. I've tried to remember that, but you and your junk have gotten under my skin. Enough is enough.

I know how to get rid of the smell of a skunk...

Bryan Woodie
Fayette County Sheriff's Office (and proud of it!)

Bryan,

Thanks for standing up and not hiding behind a name. People shouldnt post if they wont post their name.
This is America, people shouldn't fear free speech.

Stay Safe.
Your brother in public safety.

I really don't care who most of these people are in real life. The beauty of this site is that one can feel free to express themselves without fear of reprisals. And I can assure you that there are several of us who would become victims of reprisal had our names been released. It's the mystery of the bloggers that adds to the intrigue of this blog. Letters to the editors are another story. I sign those without hesitation.

Thanks for the job you do too Fireman Chris. I hope I never need your assistance. Unless you can bring that big ole ladder truck out so I can cut this big old dead pine tree down without tearing up all the other trees.

It's refreshing to see people step out from behind the vail of screen names. You have my absolute respect. Standing on principle is becoming a lost art. The most important thing you said is,
"this will play out the way it should and we can all move on to the important problems facing our community." Hopefully we can all focus on the good of this community for a change and let go of the petty Payton Place gossip.

Cheers,

I do hope you aren't threatening with harm that "skunk."

All Woodie is saying is that he knows that you use tomato juice to remove the skunk odors from your body after you wrestle it. I'll read again and see if I can locate the part where Woody said he was going to do bodily harm or kill the skunk.

You sound like a great guy! I admire each and every one of you who risk your lives everyday. My family and I support Sheriff Johnson, and every one of you. The skunk remark....so true! I hope that you don't get in trouble for speaking your mind. All of us should be allowed to do that. We can all agree to disagree. Right? Be careful out there!

You should be proud!!! From articles that I have read about you in the past, Sheriff Johnson should be proud to have someone of your stature on board.

I have had to depend on FCSO a couple of times. I have yet to have a "bad run in" with any of the deputies. They have all been extremely professional.

I personally think that those who continually post negative comments about the FCSO have had a "bad run in" with deputies, only at their own accord. The truth hurts and they refuse to face it. Not to mention, I think a couple of them use multiple screen names just to make it look like several of the citizens have complaints.

Believe me, FCSO has MANY proud citizens backing them.

Have we met before? Like in jail or something? Just kidding.

Seriously now. Thank you for what you and the other two hundred and twenty people do. You know, I hope, that you have 80% of the folks around here that support you guys whole heartedly. Thanks for putting yourselves on the line for us daily. Trust me....it doesn't go unnoticed.

Hey I do ask this of you and your fellow deputies. If there is dirt within will you guys deal with it among yourselves. We would appreciate it.
