Steve Brown’s Picks: (56-20)

Fayette County at McIntosh
I am telling you that McIntosh could pull out a victory on this one. Banneker got the best of Fayette County last week and McIntosh might have a chance too. However, based upon the statistics, I am going with FAYETTE COUNTY.

Landmark vs. ELCA
Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, with an 8-0 record, could be Landmark’s toughest game of the season. ELCA has run the score up on some of their opponents. LANDMARK CHRISTIAN will pull out a victory in a hard fought match.

OLM vs. Fellowship Christian
Our Lady of Mercy is giving it their best this season with their small roster. I will give the edge to FELLOWSHIP CHRISTIAN this week.

Sandy Creek vs. Cass
I have to admit that I know little about the Cass Colonels football team. They have a winning record and have kept the scores close in their few losses. I imagine they will give Sandy Creek all they can handle. I will stick with SANDY CREEK.

Starr's Mill vs. Northgate
Northgate should not be taken lightly. They have a good team. Starr’s Mill is high as a kite after a lopsided victory over Woodward Academy. I pick STARR’S MILL. Every game is a must-win game them.

Whitewater vs. Woodward
This is the Fayette County game of the week! Whitewater has had a wild season with some lopsided victories and some really tight squeakers. They are also coming off a bye week. I think that having a week off might hurt more than it helps at the high school level. I predict that WHITEWATER gets off to a slow start, but pulls out a win.

UGA @ Kentucky
I do not think that even Larry Munson would have picked Georgia last week. Kentucky has fewer wins than the Bulldogs, but do not forget we are talking about the “every game is a tough game” Dawgs this season. I am taking GEORGIA on a wing and a prayer.

GT @ NC State
I cannot say enough good things about the Yellow Jackets this season. They weathered the Miami storm and are still atop the Coastal Division of the ACC. On paper, North Carolina State should lose handily. Got to go with GEORGIA TECH!

Falcons at Lions
I missed the boat on the Falcons last week. Michael Vick took to air, land and sea for a victory over the Bengals. The FALCONS should run up the scoreboard on the anemic Lions this week.

Staff members picks:

Mike Boylan (55-21) - Fayette County, Landmark, Fellowship, Sandy Creek, Starr's Mill, Whitewater, UGA, Tech, Falcons.

John Thompson (52-24) - McIntosh, Landmark, Fellowship, Sandy Creek, Northgate, Whitewater, UGA, Tech, Falcons.

John Munford (52-24) - Fayette County, Landmark, Fellowship, Sandy Creek, Starr's Mill, Woodward, UGA, Tech, Falcons.

Magic 8 Ball (40-36) - Fayette County, Landmark, OLM, Sandy Creek, Starr's Mill, Whitewater, UGA, NC State, Falcons.

Good pick dude - I picked Woodward too and everyone thought I was crazy! Yea, crazy like a fox Eye-wink

Starr's Mill has a good team and officials cost them two of their 3 losses. Stay with them to beat Fayette County.

Northgate is a good team too - large and well coached - look for them to beat Whitewater in what some will call an 'upset'.

Westlake will beat Banneker narrowly. The battle of the bands that is worth admission.

Creekside will beat an ailing and rebuilding McIntosh team.

Woodward is done but not for long - they are pulling for Northgate to beat Whitewater so they can make the playoffs - and they will!

Stirring the pot-

I was right about the Banneker upset over Fayette County last week. Watch and see if Woodward doesn't do the same to Whitewater!

NC State will most likely beat Georgia Tech this week too.

I'll agree with CCB that NC State beats the Jackets. Fayette County is bad, but I don't know where Brown is coming up with the McIntosh can make it close theory?
