I actually lived there when I was little but that's when all the Delta folks were there so it was nice. I haven't been through there in quite a while but I heard that it went south a long time ago. That's what happens when you turn subdivisions into rental properties..

When we lived there we hung out with Cal Beverly's kids. They lived one street over from us. Everyone hung out at our house because we had the BMX track in the back. Never a dull moment..those were the days.

Wynnmeade is a nice place and we are moving there soon. We are moving out from our apartment and are glad to have a house.

They have had problems in the past with crime.

No worse then any other subdivision in PTC. They actually have taken steps to keep section 8 type people out of their neighborhood.

I don't know why All smiles wanted to call attention to this situation. Let the kids OD on something, this is the theory of evolution at it's best.

"It" is one of the original subdivisions of affordable (then, just barely) housing in PTC. It is now located near housing valued at 4-5 times the Wynnmeade values, plus in the middle of Disneyland, West, and subsidized housing buldings. For the most part, the people who live there are wonderful, some go way back, families. Some may not live as "high on the hog" as others subdivision do here, but they owe maybe ten times less debts than others, also. There is a lot to be said for that. However, apparently there was no original plan for building out this area, since they now have a railroad switching siding near there, enormous quantities of retail crowded into far too small of an area, and have ruined the entrance and value of two close subdivisions by the traffic created. A planned city, yes!
