Found Puppy. Help!

Today,10/22/06 a young brown puppy following a older black dog showed up at our house in the Senoia area. The older black dog has moved on but, the puppy has hung around. It is wearing a collar but, no tags.
I already have two huge dogs and, alas, can't keep this one. We really don't want to have to call animal control or, take it to the pound.
Has anyone lost this dog?!?!
If you have, please reply to this and give a brief discription of your missing dog and the color of the collar so I will know you are the true owner. It's a very friendly dog.
I sure hope this finds the person who has lost this dog.

Found Puppy.

Thanks for the ideas on what to do with this puppy. We contacted both the local shelters on Monday. We gave a full discription of the dog and our name and phone number. We have a big dog pen with (it just so happened we had 3) nice warm dog house. Our dogs have no trouble with the pup which surprised us. We will hold on to her to see if anyone is missing her for two weeks then, she will become a member of our "pack". We will get all her shots and, get her fixed.
I'm still hoping somebody calls but, if they don't...she will have a good home. We have 5 acres and, hopefully, she'll be happy here.
Thanks again. No, we aren't try to "steal" anyones pet!!!! I can hear everyone now.....

If I lost an animal, the first place I would check would be at Rockaway Road and 74 (I believe this is Fayette County's pound). I would take the puppy there.

Please, please, please take that dog to the pound. My dog has wandered off a couple of times (in 13 years) and I get him back right away because I check the pound first. I have also found more than a few animals, and that's what the pound is for - that's where people look for animals when they're lost. They don't even let people adopt right away, they wait to give the owner a chance to come get the dog.
