National Massage Therapy Awareness Week October 22-28,2006

Gina M. Rizzo, CMT,NMT of Rizzo Enterprises Massage Therapy Clinic at 110-C Bastille Way in Fayetteville wants everyone to be advised that it is the AMTA's National Massage Therapy Awareness Week October 22-28, 2006.

Everyone should be aware that there is an alternative to drugs and surgery.
People should check into Massage Therapy before taking any drugs or having surgery.
People come into my office every day saying that Massage Therapy beats having to take drugs and dealing with the side effects that comes with the prescription they are taking.
Gina M. Rizzo, CMT, NMT became a Massage Therapist after going through several visits to the Physical Therapist and Medical doctors just to find out she was still in pain after a work related injury. It wasn't until she went on vacation to the Dominican Republic, Punta Cunta, where she had her first massage and the pain progressivly improved. She went to the Massage Therapist for 5-6months.
She had Achilles Tendonitis,Sacro-Illiac issues, Hip problems, as well as, Fibromyalgia. Since Massage, and becoming a Massage Therapist, all those symptoms and conditions are now gone.
Gina wants everyone to know that Massage Therapy could be the answer to your condition(s)and should be aware of it before you go on vacation years later to find that out.
Gina M. Rizzo, CMT,NMT can be reached at

This was a good reminder to all. That massage therapy can work wonders especially when done correctly. According to the az massage therapy school, massage therapy can be a good alternative to surgery. But will there be more awareness week coming? Any updates?
