Someone help me understand

With interest, I watched the interview with Robin Kittrell's parents on the news yesterday. Did anyone else see this? Ummm, what was your take on it? Seemed to me that they didn't see that anything was out of order or outside the laws. Is this a tactic? Or do they really believe what they are saying?

The main thing that troubled me was Lee Sexton appearing as the attorney.

Not trying to imply anything here, but he usually shows up defending people who are in real trouble. This case does not seem worthy of his reputation and skills. I think I forgot to use an adjective - alledged.

Of course I don't expect that. What I do expect is for people to take responsibility. Robin, if found guilty, will probably get probation which is fine with me if the evidence shows that he had no violent intentions. Everyone has known for how long now that the schools have zero tolerance when it comes to weapons? It has to be enforced in order to try to keep future school shootings and other violence from occuring.

the video on wsbtv's web site. I believe that Mr and Mrs Kttrell have the "My child would never do anything wrong" blinders on. It doesn't matter what his "intent" was on bringing the weapons on school grounds. Maybe he is a well prepared person like they said, I don't know. I don't know him. However, just bringing the weapons on school grounds (not to mention thw one found on his person)is a felony. Plain and simple, he broke the law.
