secret plot revealed: TDK to be renamed Confederate Memorial Highway

I came across some recent higway plans that reveal, upon completion, that this highway will be officially known as the "Confederate Memorial Highway."

There, now THAT will get this thing stopped for sure. Smiling

I think you are joshing about the road's name. Likewise, the other rumor that it is to be called the Yankee Highway, is also untrue. No, the name of this road belongs to those most responsible for its creation, which will without doubt be the center of contention in years to come as to exactly what destroyed the "planned city" of Peachtree City. Therefore, I propose the following name which should give proper eternal credit to the rightful creators: "Path Vl," is the only name possible! or, maybe, "Group Vl Way." If we use any of the personal names of the people who are to profit from this enterprise, it would only mean that in maybe fifty years some other developer would have his name replace theirs. Fifty years is about the limit that personally named roads and bridges last these days.
Additionally, when the skyscraper is built on the lake behind the current city hall in a few years, which will include twin towers with penthouses, we can use the name, "LenSchlosdon Place!"

..since the TDK Highway is all about someone (or some people) selling out their homeland.

Or maybe we could use some recent historical figure, like the Hanoi Jane Fonda Parkway. We could even add lights that are fashioned to look like North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun batteries (you know, the ones Jane posed with).

roads after do-nothinger politicians who at one time or another played the game just right for his cronies. How about the Westmoreland Interchange or Seabaugh Street?
