F’ville police arrest fiancee for stabbing Councilman Paul Oddo with a pencil

The fiancee of a Fayetteville City councilman was arrested last week for assaulting him during an argument, police said.

Vasuthare Karnitis, 36, of Forsyth Street, Atlanta, was charged with simple assault on Friday, Sept. 15, after she stabbed Paul Oddo with a pencil at Oddo Brothers CPA in Fayetteville, police said.

It is not known what the nature of the dispute was, police said.

In 2007, the charge was dismissed.

She stabbed him -- he had her arrested. And, they have been seen together around town and at a council meeting since all this happened! Would you continue to "date" someone who stabbed you, even if it was with pencil? Must have been bad if Oddo had Vas arrested. Would you continue to date someone if he had you arrested? What does she have on him? Is the personal companion money that good?

Don't make waves Flower. Let's not mess up an opportunity to get one of the Oddo boys married off. Paul's a good and honest person who is a real anomaly as he carries all that over into his politics. Let's wish the best to Paul and hope he doesn't turn into another Seabaugh or Wastemoreland.
