Elizabeth Rose Bearden, 70, Fayetteville, died Sept. 22, 2006. She was born May 6, 1936 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by children, Page, and Joe, and a grandson, James. After retiring from BellSouth, she spent her time volunteering at local organizations including Piedmont Fayette Hospital, the Fayette Senior Center, and the Fayette Samaritans. Services were at the Fayetteville Christian Church with Pastor Dan Roberts officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include children, Vicki, Robert, Christie, David, and Robin; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother, Bobby; and a sister, Ann. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
