Flat Rock and Fayette Middle Flunking CRCT

Just reading the results today in the AJC of the results on CRCT for these middle schools. Fayette Middle has 10%+ fail rate in over 8 subjects, with 3 in the 25%+ fail range. Flat Rock had just about the same, a few less in the fail rate, but several in the 25%+ fail range. Maybe a new approach to teaching needs to be tried at these schools. It's obvious that whatever is being taught isn't getting through to the kids. Some Fulton County schools have much better percentages than these. 25% of students in a grade failing a subject on the CRCT is a red flag.

I don't even know what such a test really proves. It does sort some types of people from others.
