Thanks for the info, Lyndon M. I'm not sure why, but it seems there is very little publicity given to the fair anymore, and I always find myself scrambling to find out when it's taking place. Anyone know why this might be the case?

FAYETTE CO FAIR DATES

The Kiwanis Fayette County Fair will run from October 5th thru October 14th, 2006.

I understand this is the last year at its current location, don’t know if it’s moving somewhere anywhere else next year. The current location will be turned into a bus barn after the fair, yuck!

Kiwanis Fair

It is my understanding that the annual Fair will be in October and will run 9 days this year(will be open on Sunday). I am not EXACTLY sure of the dates but I think the 9th of October is the start date. I also heard that they can hold the fair there for the next 3 years.
