Logsdon Report: Propensity for lying continues

Mayor Harold Logsdonā€™s propensity for lying is continuing. The mayor emphatically stated that a decision on TDK had to be made on September 12 because the sale of the Pathway property was definitely closing on Friday, September 15. Logsdon told the city council that there was no more time remaining to examine the TDK situation. The city council decided they could not do anything and did not have enough information. Lo and behold, almost two weeks later and the property is still not closed. Logsdon's continous habit of lying is making our city look bad.

You don't understand, I think. By taking no action, the project goes through, as I understand it. They (council) could still stop it, but don't want to explain the money already spent---kinda like the world famous tennis center here. Politicians anymore stay up all night plotting how to get rich off someone else---accept it! They are the ones that need to figure out how to get their growing camel shape through the eye of a needle.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but the mayor has always been a strong advocate of TDK. Why is it a surprise that he would do everything within his power to build the extension?

I don't think it's too harsh to say there are some local fools who vote for a guy and then turn around hate him for doing what he promised. It was always clear who was behind Harold. However, I'm not excusing his stretching the truth on his tax promise. He should be given a hard time for not making an effort on that one.
