Consider that tomorrow will be
the beginning of a new year, a new century and to
some, a new millennium. For high school athletic teams, it is
the beginning of the second half of the season. Now
they face more region opponents and every game counts
a little bit more. Though the action won't begin
until Tuesday, Jan. 4, one can foresee an exciting
beginning to 2000.
