Soccer

The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville is accepting registrations for muppets (four- and five-year olds) for the season, which starts on Jan. 10, The fee is $45 and the season is seven games long. Call 770-460-8785.

The winter indoor adult soccer leagues will kick-off in January at The Soccer Centre in Fayetteville. The Centre will host Men's Open, Coed, 30 and over, and Masters (40 and over). All leagues will begin the week of Jan. 10. Each team will play seven games plus a post-season playoff; registration is $490 per team. Call 770-460-8785.

The Georgia Baseball Association of Peachtree City will be having tryouts for the Spring 2000 season on Saturday, Jan. 8. 11 and 13-year -olds will tryout from 12-2 p.m. and 12 and 14-year-olds will tryout from 2-4 p.m. Tryouts will be held at Braelinn Fields in Peachtree City. Registration is now open for The Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp. Boys and girls ages 10-18 are eligible. There is a camp location in Atlanta, GA,. For an evaluation form call (704) 372-8610 ANYTIME.

Registration for the Fayette Flames spring track program will be held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. beginning on Jan. 17 -28. Registration will also be available Jan. 22 and 29 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The registration site will be the Fayette County Recreation Center on Redwine Rd. "Sports For Youth Foundation inc. is currently accepting applications for boys and girls aged 15 - 18, who are accomplished volleyball players to represent the US on the 2000 Goodwill Ambassadors World Tour. 2000 marks the 18th year that the Goodwill Ambassadors have conducted world tours for Junior volleyball players. This year's tour is to Southern Europe (London, Paris, Geneva, Venice, and Rome). This tour is both a cultural and athletic enrichment program.
