Planning
commissioner endorses Talley for Fayetteville Council The Nov. 2 Fayetteville city election resulted in the election of Ken Steele as our new mayor and a runoff for the position of Fayetteville City Council Post One. Again we have an opportunity on Nov. 16 to elect the best possible candidate to join the fine team we have in our new mayor and current city council. It has been my privilege to serve as a Fayetteville planning commissioner for the past two years under the leadership of Planning Commission Chairman Bill Talley. I know Bill to have the highest integrity, honesty, and commitment to our fine city. Bill has worked diligently to enhance residential and commercial property development standards, enhance traffic controls on our most congested streets and highways, enhance and adhere to our land use plan, limit high density growth outside the city center, and cast votes consistent with the best interest of current Fayetteville citizens and property owners. Bill Talley is the candidate for controlled growth in Fayetteville. I take this opportunity to endorse Bill Talley for Fayetteville Council Member Post One on Tuesday Nov. 16. I encourage each of you to vote on Nov. 16, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Old Fayetteville Depot, regardless of your candidate selection. It is our obligation to good government. Myron
