Hadassah group meeting is tonight

An organizational meeting to discuss the formation of a new Greater Atlanta Hadassah group in the South Atlanta area is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library off Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City. Lee University Singers to perform

The Peachtree City Church of God will sponsor a free community concert featuring the Lee University Singers on Sunday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. The 60- member group is from Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. and features both vocalists and instrumentalists with a repertoire ranging from choral classics to gospel favorites. Dr. Walt Mauldin is the conductor. A nursery will be provided for children from newborns up to age six. The church is located at 3935 Hwy. 34 E. between Peachtree City and Newnan. Providence will offer Bible study for 5th graders

Open Door Baptist plans homecoming Sept. 26

Open Door Baptist Church in Senoia invites the community to its Homecoming, Sunday, Sept. 26 with worship, food and afternoon singing. Featured will be The Followers from LaGrange. “Meats and beans” Sunday at North Fayette UMC

North Fayette United Methodist Church will sponsor a “Meats and Beans Sunday” for the Fayette Samaritans on Sunday, Sept. 26. Donations of canned meats such as ham, Spam, sausage, chicken, tuna, etc., and pork and beans are needed. Fayetteville Christian plans women's fall retreat

Catholic mission to hold first Mass in Sharpsburg

The Catholic community of Sharpsburg will hold its first Mass as a mission of Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Mass will be celebrated in the cafeteria of Thomas Crossroads Elementary School on Ga. Hwy. 34.

Ladies body sculpting class to meet at FFBC

McDonough Rd. plans golf fellowship

A church wide golf fellowship for members of McDonough Road Baptist Church is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Cedars Golf Course. The cost is $22 per participant. Those wishing to participate may sign up at the church.
