Local girl has iron will

Kids are pretty much indestructible. They seem to believe it and when we watch them push themselves to the limit, only to push themselves even further, we start to believe it too.

Jamborees in store for Cheifs/Indians

Some county football teams got their proverbial feet wet last week, playing at the Fayette County High School Jamboree. This week, the McIntosh Chiefs and the East Coweta Indians get their chance on the preseason gridiron.  

Lazers finish tourney in top two spots

The Coweta Soccer Tournament was held recently and, like last year, was owned by the Peachtree City Lazer teams. The green team and the white team defeated six teams, scoring 43 goals and allowing only one en route to the finals. This was the second year in a row that the two teams met in the finals of the tournament. This year ended with the white team beating the green team, 4-1.
