Members of Peachtree City’s City Council were shocked to learn County Commission Chairman Greg Dunn thought an agreement had been reached on the county’s proposed Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for road improvements.

We are concerned about this, and that, and at the time, these things seem soo important to us. Then as time goes by, we often realize that those issues and situations that we spent so much energy on really didn’t matter much in the big picture of life.

We were driving slowly through Callaway Gardens when I asked him to turn off his Game Boy. I insisted that he look at the trees and plants and watch for wildlife. Without a whine, whimper or complaint of any kind, he turned it off and began to observe the captivating scenery.
