Constitution misused in gay rights debate

The gay and lesbian marriages that are taking place in this country right now angers me. These activist elected officials are breaking the law. My first concern is nothing is being done legally to stop this. Why are these activists not being arrested and the marriages performed not annulled? What is happening to this country?

They all keep playing the constitution card. Obviously they have no clue what beliefs this country was founded on. Those who argue the meaning behind the constitution pay close attention to these quotes that can be found in Sean Hannity’s new book, “Deliver us from Evil,” which I highly recommend.

This first quote is from John Adams: “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

The second quote is from James Madison: “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”

Madison warned against what is happening today in this country. He warned that a government with unchecked power, whose authority is not grounded in a more fundamental source of morality, leaves its people unprotected from evil. What he warned is happening in this country. The liberals are changing our foundation. We must stop this now.

Encourage others to vote this November. This could be the most important decision this generation has had to make. Let’s help keep the future bright for our children and grandchildren.
