KidsPeace grateful for community help

We at KidsPeace are moved and grateful beyond words for the magnificent contribution of the Fayette County community to our noble cause of helping foster children in the area have a happy holiday.

We commend the community for taking a personal interest in the fate of 100 foster children from Fayetteville, Griffin, and Columbus over the holidays by donating many wonderful gifts that have touched their lives and given them something to smile about.

It is a powerful testament that the spirit of goodwill and kindness is abundant in Fayette County!

It is with heartfelt sincerity that we thank each and every person who took time out of their busy holiday schedule, opening their hearts and wallets to give the gift of joy and light to one of our kids.

Thanks to your generous donations, every foster child received at least one gift they had hoped for this year and most have several gifts to be grateful for.

We praise you all for the marvelous toys, clothes, and other items you gave to a truly worthy cause. We are very happy that you did not forget the true essence of the holidays and became sponsors of our Angel Tree project.

Our warmest gratitude also goes to the Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant on Ga. Highway 85 North in The Citizen newspaper for giving wings to the wishes of our children and delivering them to thousands of homes in the area. Your involvement has given 100 foster children something to celebrate this year.

If you were unable to be an angel for one of our kids over the holidays but wish there was something you could do, please remember that our children’s needs do not end on Jan. 1. Anyone interested in making a contribution or opening his/her home up to a foster child is welcome to contact our Fayetteville office at 770-719-0808.

KidsPeace is extremely pleased to call all of you friends and welcome you to our caring and dedicated family. You, like us, recognize how priceless children truly are and, for that, we thank you!

Warmest wishes for a glorious and rewarding Year 2004!
