LDS Church sponsors community Christmas program “Festive in Fayetteville” is the theme of the community Christmas program planned for Sunday, Dec. 21, from 5-7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Christmas tree near the gazebo in Heritage Park, downtown Fayetteville. The event is sponsored by the Fayetteville Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. Several local church choirs are scheduled to sing Christmas carols and seasonal music, including those from the Fayettevile and Whitewater Wards of the LDS Church, Edgefield Baptist Church and Merrill Chapel United Methodist Church.
